The PCEA Umoja dates back to 1977. It is one of the parishes and congregations that make up Nairobi East Presbytery in East lands, Nairobi County. It is amazing and inspiring to imagine that a church which started with only 11 members is now home to over 2000 members. From 1977 to date, there have been great moments of remarkable growth in Umoja Church and its surroundings, notably the Imani Tower complex which is the highest point in Eastland’s. Many people have been impacted spiritually, academically and socially through the many programs and activities that the church has put in place.
The church has indeed grown from a very humble beginning to an ultra-modern institution. The great achievement of PCEA Umoja could not have been realised without sound leadership and committed members. Church operations are guided and directed by the strategic plan which has enabled the leadership to resonate very well to the needs of the members
Word from the Parish Minister - Rev Felix Murithi
Grace and peace from our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
All Christians are royal priests and therefore should prayerfully identify their gifts and use them for service and for God’s glory.
Welcome to our 4th Sunday in the lent season.
REFLECTION ON FAITH
FROM HEBREWS 11:1FF.
Faith is a reality in one’s life and one begins to believe in God when he accepts this gift from God.
